Onboarding
Let’s Get Started - Our Discovery Call!
Before contracts or deposits, we’ll start with a virtual coffee chat! This is a casual conversation where I’ll get to know your business, goals, and the data solutions you envision. We’ll discuss everything from the database structure and website features to dashboards design including insights to be expected in each dashboard and ongoing support. I’ll also walk you through my process and outline what I’ll need from you to get things rolling. By the end, you’ll have a clear view of what our journey will look like, no strings attached!
Project Proposal - Your Tailored Solution
After our chat, I’ll craft a custom proposal for you. Think of it as your project roadmap, with options ranging from core essentials to fully-loaded packages. Each option includes an outline of deliverables, estimated timelines, and pricing so you can choose the package that best fits your needs. It’s your chance to pick the path that matches your vision!
Signed, Sealed, and Ready to Go!
Once you’ve selected a package, we’ll make things official! You’ll receive a contract to review and sign, and a 50% deposit will lock in your project on my calendar. Once these steps are complete, we’re ready to dive into creating something exceptional for your business!
Work Process and Offboarding
Database Setup - The Foundation
We’ll kick off with building your database! I’ll create a schema based on your requirements and share it with you for approval or any adjustments. This database will serve as the core of your data-driven system, designed specifically for your needs.
Dashboard(s) Design - Visualization Begins
After the database is in place, I’ll make two initial design sketches or templates for each dashboard. This is where you can pick the layout style that best represents your business. You'd also confirm where you want each part of the insight to be on the dashboard (if you'd like). Once you’ve chosen, I’ll build out the dashboards, making sure they’re both intuitive, visually engaging and accurately depict each insight, then send them for final approval before we move to the next stage.
Website & UI Creation - Your Data Comes to Life!
With the database and dashboards approved, it’s time to design the website interface (UI). This includes a preview of how the dashboard and other essential features will look. Once the UI is just right, it will be sent for approval, after UI approval i’ll start the integration, seamlessly connecting your database, dashboards, and website so that everything works in harmony.
Final Review - The Big Presentation!
Once everything is set, I’ll present the project to you. This includes a walkthrough of the database, dashboards functionality, and website features through a live presentation or video. You’ll get a clear look at how it all fits together, with time for any adjustments you may need.
Handover - Wrapping Up!
After the final tweaks and your approval, you will make the final or complete payment. Once received, full access to your website, database, and dashboards will be handed over to you. I’ll also send you a review link, your feedback means a lot and helps me improve for future projects!
Note: This process is my tried-and-true method for crafting amazing work efficiently. But don’t worry, I’m flexible! If unique deliverables or different workflows come into play, I’ll adapt my process to suit your needs.
